Opera is an art that is difficult to describe. You have to be on the stage, to feel the energy of the audience, and yourself – there, inside! You connect with God through your voice. Because the only divine instrument is the voice. It is no coincidence that our Eastern Orthodox religion does not use musical instruments in the church. Because the only instrument, God’s instrument, is the voice. The human voice.
