MEMBERS OF THE JURY
Tanya Ivanova
Soprano and soloist of Opera Plovdiv, acclaimed for her outstanding interpretations of dramatic Verdi and Puccini roles on international stages and festivals, as well as for her work as founder of the Kamen Chanev Foundation, established in memory of the world-renowned tenor Kamen Chanev.
Plamen Kartaloff
Academician, professor, stage director, and educator, as well as long-time director of the National Opera and Ballet – Sofia, whose work has played a major role in the international promotion of Bulgarian opera through large-scale productions, festivals, and educational initiatives.
Søren Schuhmacher
Opera stage director and manager with extensive international experience, having collaborated with some of Europe’s leading opera houses and festivals, including the Bayreuth Festival, Deutsche Oper Berlin, and Staatstheater Darmstadt. From the 2025–2026 season, he is Intendant of Theatre Hagen.
Plamen Kartaloff
Academician, professor, stage director, and educator, as well as long-time director of the National Opera and Ballet – Sofia, whose work has played a major role in the international promotion of Bulgarian opera through large-scale productions, festivals, and educational initiatives.
Søren Schuhmacher
Opera stage director and manager with extensive international experience, having collaborated with some of Europe’s leading opera houses and festivals, including the Bayreuth Festival, Deutsche Oper Berlin, and Staatstheater Darmstadt. From the 2025–2026 season, he is Intendant of Theatre Hagen.
Daniel Jinga
Conductor, choirmaster, and music manager with an active international career spanning opera, choral music, and symphonic crossover projects. Since 2021, he has been General Director of the National Opera in Bucharest.
Oliver Arsovski
Musician and cultural manager, a professionally trained violinist with extensive experience in the leadership of major musical institutions and festivals in North Macedonia. He currently serves as Director of the National Opera and Ballet - Republic of North Macedonia.
Daniel Jinga
Conductor, choirmaster, and music manager with an active international career spanning opera, choral music, and symphonic crossover projects. Since 2021, he has been General Director of the National Opera in Bucharest.
Oliver Arsovski

Opera singer and educator with an international career spanning more than 40 years on stages such as the Vienna State Opera and Teatro alla Scala, widely recognized as one of the most distinguished Bulgarian opera artists, with an outstanding contribution to vocal art and the training of young singers.

The organizers of the competition are selecting the members of the Jury.
The Jury may decide not to reward all prizes. The decision of the Jury is final.
